Sunrise on Mother's Day found me meeting my clients for what turned out to be the best trip so far this spring. It started off a bit slow and the fish were small. It ended with a flourish after catching over 40 Hybrids in about four hours. I cleaned 15 and we released the rest. I left them biting at 1:30 PM. These were all 3-5 pound Hybrids and no Sandies mixed in. It was an excellent day to be on the water. This was my first Mother's Day without my mom. I thought of her and enjoyed the memories of all the great times we had together over the years. It was bittersweet for sure. Click "read more" to see the pics.
