The last three trips up to Skiatook Lake have been fantastic. The trip today topped them all. We left the ramp at 7 AM and proceeded to our first spot. The fish were there and they were very willing to accept our offerings. At one point we had five on at once. We stayed there for about an hour and the bite slowed down a bit. We moved about a mile but the fish there would not bite. Our next location was where we really cleaned up. For almost three hours it was constant fish on. We caught and released over 40 Hybrids at that one spot. Most were in the 5-8 lb. range. The rest of May should continue to be excellent fishing for these outstanding fighters.
