Sun, Jan 17, 2010The January "Party Boat" trip was sold out again. The weather conditions were absolutely ideal for a great day of fishing up on Sooner Lake. However, as luck would have it the power plant had not been generating for two days and the water temp. in the discharge canal was in the low to mid 40's. This moves the fish and bait up closer to the power plant beyond where we are allowed to go in a boat. We looked hard in several places but really only found one good school of fish. Those fish were very finicky and we only had 4 bites and landed one Hybrid all day. Those kinds of trips are tough, but that's fishing.
