I just returned from another trip to Lake Ouachita. It was very cold and the fishing was tough. We really only caught fish on Saturday and Sunday. I was with my friend Dave Clark, we try to go down there every year between Christmas and new Years. The fish were between 12 and 18 pounds on this trip. We caught them on Shad, Goldfish, and big Shiners. Most fish were caught about 25 ft. behind planer boards. This is a very effective way of presenting live bait away from the boat. We caught a total of 9 Stripers, we missed three more good hits. Here are some pics from the trip.
