Let me begin by thanking all Veterans past and present who have sacrificed so much so that we may enjoy the freedoms we have today. Like being able to load up the boat and go to the lake with a good friend.
Lake Sooner was on fire today. My friend David Clark and I got to the lake about 9:30 this morning and found some willing fish pretty quick. we put six in the box before those fish moved on, and so did we. We got a few here and there until about 1 PM when we hit the mother lode. From 1 til about 3:30 we burned through most all of our 100+ baits. I needed some fish for a family get together this Friday. I cleaned 21 very good sized Hybrids and we released at least 30 more. I would imagine we lost at least 20 more before we could land them. That is an Awesome day on Sooner. The bite up there should be that good in the main lake through the end of this month. Click "read more" to see the pictures.
