Fri, Jun 26, 2009This was my first trip to Sooner in a while. We started fishing at 9 AM for a half day trip. The first spot was holding quite a few fish but we couldn't get them to bite. So with such a short time to fish I started to try and find some more fish. We worked our way down to the dam and found some in the very clear water by the inlet canal levee. These fish were much more active and we started getting bit, but these fish just would't stay hooked. We lost several fish and by the end of the trip we only had one Hybrid. Recent reports from Sooner indicate the afternoon bite is producing greater numbers of fish. No pics today.
