Fishing in the rain
Sat, May 06, 2006 It was a cold and wet morning when I met my anglers for today up at Skiatook. It took awhile for us to find any active fish but perseverance paid off. These folks were from Enid and it turns out they are avid "Noodlers". I enjoyed the day with them learning about this unique Oklahoma technique for taking big Catfish. I don't think I'm quite ready to try it but I'd like to go observe. We cleaned 10 good sized 'Brids this afternoon for a fish fry. Back up to Skiatook tomorrow.
