OSU Lake is Still Hot!!
Sun, Jul 30, 2006 High temps and incredible amounts of pleasure craft have not diminished the bite at CB. I was up there on Saturday afternoon with four anglers looking for big fish. We didn't get any over seven pounds but at the end of the day I cleaned 30 good sized 'Brids. Most were in the three to five pound range. These clients were very impressed with the size and numbers of fish. We went through 100 baits in the six hour trip. What impressed me most was the willingness to bite with all the boat traffic nearby. What impressed me the least was the total disregard and lack of common courtesy displayed by a high number of boaters. It is very obvious that there are no courtesy rules taught when someone purchases a PWC or a 25 ft. cruiser. I better close now before I really get on a rant. I can't get myself worked up too much because I'm loading up to go again today.
