The morning weather was beautiful and we were in the ski pond by dawn. It was the first day I've been to Skiatook without the 10-20 mph wind. I was looking forward to pulling some planer boards in shallow water because we have been catching some good sized Hybrids in there for two weeks now. No such luck. We made three passes and picked up a couple, lost a couple, caught one good sized smallmouth and a flathead cat. I decided to go look for some more active fish and I checked three other spots that have been holding fish. Absolutely nothing onthe sonar or on the hook. At the fourth spot everything changed. We had doubles and triples on for at least three hours. I totally lost count of the amount of Hybrids we caught. We cleaned our limit and released lots of fish. This was an excellent trip with some very entertaining clients.
