Sun, Jul 23, 2006 I went up to Carl Blackwell Saturday afternoon to scout out some Hybrid action. I had heard that there were some big fish biting. That report was accurate!! We caught over 30 fish with the biggest one being a little over 8 pounds. The fish were suspended at 15 feet in 25 feet of water off any windy point. There was lots of boat traffic but the fish were not affected by it. Give me a call if you'd like to get into some bigger fish.
