Father and Daughter at Sooner
Sat, Jul 15, 2006 It was pretty hot up at Sooner this afternoon but the fishing and catching helped beat the heat. My clients today were a father and daughter from Sand Springs. This young lady was a trooper in that heat, but she was all over those 'Brids when we went over a school. The fish today were very concentrated and willing to take a shad. These were some of the biggest groups of fish I've seen all summer. They just wouldn't stay put. Five was the most we could pull out of any one school. They were all 3 to 5 pounds and in very good shape. We ended up cleaning our limit at sundown. It's always a pleasure to have a family outing in the boat.
