Cinco de Mayo
Sun, May 06, 2007 Cinco De Mayo was hot on Skiatook Saturday afternoon. Dave and I hosted seven gentlemen from Salina Kansas who were in town for a boys weekend out. These guys were here to have fun and we did that. The fish were hard to find and the Oklahoma wind made these guys feel at home. It was tough finding fish but we finally settled on a bunch of good sized 'Brids. The bite was steady but not fast and furious like it has been for the past two weeks. We never really marked any fish on the graph but they were responding to the massive amounts of shad we were chuming with. Dave's crew had a higher body count than mine but I don't think they were having any more fun.
