Sunday 4/1/07 Skiatook
Sun, Apr 01, 2007 I had a trip booked for today but my clients had some last minute changes to their schedule and had to cancel. Talk about all dressed up and nowhere to go I was already loaded up and ready to go to Skiatook so Mandy and I headed on up there this morning to scout it out a bit. The lake is rising and the moon is full. I got into some pretty decent fish early down by Skiatook Point. The rest of the day was pretty slow. I did get one 4lb Green Perch and it was her lucky day, I was not going to clean any fish today, and she is probably back on her nest. Water temp is 59 in the lower end of the lake. It's pretty muddy after you get past Crystal Bay. Lot's of floating debris in the lake so keep your eyes open if you're going up there.
