I had an early morning trip with some regular clients this morning. When I got to the ramp there were no other trucks in the parking lot. We were the only boat on the lake. The bite was furious as soon as we got on our spot. It took 30 minutes before we could get out more than two rods. We caught fish like that for about two hours then it slowed a bit. It rained a couple of times but the bite really stopped when the wind shifted out of the north. When we started taking water over the bow we decided to pack it in and call it a day. Great trip on a lonely lake. I bet it won't be lonely on Saturday.
