The major rain storms out around Skiatook Sunday night raised the lake level 2 ft. in about 24 hours. This really turned off the fish. We saw fish at every stop we made but they just would not take a bait. The inflow has stopped and the lake is stabilized at 4 feet under full. This should improve conditions and catching.

Saturday was a repeat of yesterday, with the fish moving really fast and not acting hungry. There were storms in the area and we just could not find any active feeders. I went from one end of the lake all the way up to the Highway 20 bridge looking. I've got to honestly report the bad days along with the good!!

Friday was a repeat of last week. The fish were easy to find but they didn't stay put for very long. I'll be glad when they settle down and get back to their regular summer time pattern.
