It was another fantastic day of catching Hybrids at Sooner today. We started with fresh Shad at 10 AM this morning and caught fish all day. I had two clients and they caught over 50 fish today. They kept 18 nice ones to cook and we released the rest unharmed. I forgot my camera this morning so I can't post any pics right now. My clients had a camera and I'll post some when they email them to me. Water temps in the low 60's and most fish were caught on downlines is 20 feet of water.

I met my clients at 10 AM this morning for our outing at Sooner. We went directly to our first spot and literally did not move again all day. We had fish on the entire day and we burned through 150 fresh lively Shad. When we ended the day we had very likely caught over 100 Hybrids. Most were released, we kept about 25 deep hooked fish for a family fish fry tomorrow. What a day on the water.

It was another beautiful Fall day over on Sooner, the boat was full and the fish were biting. We started at 10:30 AM and fished for 6 hours into the afternoon. I'm not sure how many we caught, but I cleaned 17 Hybrids and 2 Stripers. All the fish were very healthy and very eager to feed. There are no signs of this excellent fishing to slow down or change.

The excellent Hybrid Striper bite continues at Sooner. The weather was too bad to be out on the lake Saturday morning so we were able to reschedule this trip for Sunday. We had another very good day of catching Hybrids. There were willing fish just about everywhere we stopped. We ended up with plenty of fish for everyone and had a great day on the water.

Friday was an awesome day up on Sooner. I had two brothers from the City, both were good fisherman and we got in to several groups of fish during the trip. I cleaned enough fish for a gallon bag of fillets and we released the rest. Thanks guys for a great day on the water. Here is a pic of a very healthy Sooner Striper. He was released.
