I've been out of state caring for my mom most of this month. I lost her on August 15th. I'm hoping that things return to some sort of normalcy by the end of August. Most of the other guides in my network have been reporting poor fishing conditions since the first part of August. Call me if you'd like to book a fall fishing trip.

My trip on Monday was a birthday present for a 15 year old boy from his mom. We were joined by one of his friends too. Our first stop was a little disappointing because there were a lot of fish on the sonar but we couldn't get them to bite. We decided to make a move to a little "beach" on Beaver Island to do a little swimming.
