It was another great afternoon on Skiatook. Today I had three generations of the Blackburn family out for an afternoon of chasing Hybrids. We caught all our fish on downlines in 30 ft. of water.

It was another fantastic afternoon on Skiatook. I had a husband and wife out for a 3 hour trip. We left them biting at 8 PM when the storm finally made it to the lake. I cleaned a 2 person limit and released several lip hooked fish to fight another day. The bite right now is as good as it's been all summer!!

After taking a week off to go fishing in Texas, we are back at it on Skiatook. The bite started off a little bit slow but quickly picked up to a frenzied pace. I had four clients in the boat and everyone got their limit of good sized hybrids. I cleaned 20 and we released 10 more.

This was the July "Party Boat" trip we met at 2 PM and had a very slow start. We went to several spots and could not get hooked up. At about 5:30 we located a school of active feeders in 40 ft. of water and it was non stop for over an hour. When the dust settled we had 17 in the box. it was a good day on the water with some great guys.

Today's trip was a 3 hr. afternoon charter on Skiatook. It was a father daughter trip where we caught smoe good sized Hybrids. We hooked up this one at our first stop.

I had some of my very best clients on board today for a slow start and an explosive finish. It was beautiful up on Skiatook in the late afternoon just before sundown. The afternoon bite has been awesome lately. I cleaned a 5 person limit of Hybrids and we released about 15 more. Great trip.

We got over to Sooner on Saturday and had to run around quite a bit but we finally found some active fish. They are pumping water into the lake so we focused on that area down by the dam.

I had another family trip today with dad and father in law. Great company and a pretty good day of catching. We had to hunt around quite a bit to find the active feeders. No pics today.

I was part of a 10 boat charter this Saturday. It was a tough afternoon on Skiatook but we managed a few good sized Hybrids. All 10 boats caught fish. No pics today.

My trip today was a kid and dad birthday trip. Nate had never caught a Hybrid before and he was very impressed. We had a great trip and they left with a nice bag of fillets.
