Sunday was a repeat of Saturday. After looking for awhile we finally located some willing fish. They were not in the same spot as Saturday but we used the same tactics. The wind was blowing pretty hard so we just anchored up and waited them out. Most fish were caught on down lines. The fish were moving along the edge of a dropoff in mid lake. Saturday afternoon was pretty good up on Sooner. The fist place we stopped was covered up with fish but I couldn't get them to bite. We stuck with them for over an hour using different tactics before giving up to go look elsewhere for active feeders. It didn't take much longer. The second spot had lots of fish and they were hungry in a big way. We ended up keeping 25 and released another 20. Most fish were in the 3-5 pound range.

Friday afternoon at Skiatook was hot in more than one way. There was no breeze all afternoon but the bite was hot too. I had some of my regular clients up there and we got into a big bunch of fish. When the smoke cleared we had caught around 50 fish. I cleaned some for them for a fish fry and released the others. It was a great day out on the water.
