  • Skiatook 6/10/07

Mon, Jun 11, 2007 Today was a very good day at Skiatook for the anglers on my boat. We boated several nice Hybrids and kept a few for a family reunion fish fry. I saw something this morning I have never seen in fresh water. One of the clients in the front of the boat got a hit and moments later the guy on the other bow seat got one on. As we were fighting those fish it started to look like the first fish had just got tangled with the other line. When we finally got him in that Hybrid had two hooks... read more No Comments
  • Sooner 6/9/07

Mon, Jun 11, 2007 Saturday at Sooner was tough. We searched for fish and found them everywhere we looked but they wouldn't take a bait.  Finally late in the day during the last one and one half hours of the trip we found some willing fish.  It was a good day of fishing but a slow day of catching. • Busy Skiatook

Sun, Jun 03, 2007 Well it started off pretty slow for me but ended up pretty good. I had 5 clients out as part of a multi boat charter. The best part was that we had a couple of 10 and 12 year old boys in the boat. They had a pretty good time with those Skiatook Hybrids. We ended up cleaning 12 good sized fish for a fish fry. Those trips with kids in the boat are always the best. I think I'll get some pictures later since I forgot my camera yesterday. No Comments
  • Skiatook Friday Afternoon

Sat, Jun 02, 2007 I fished with two clients on friday afternoon and we did real well. We caught fish everywhere we stopped but they would scatter pretty fast. We were targeting areas between 25 and 35 ft. deep and picking them up on down lines as well as free lines. We ended up only cleaning seven fish since we couldn't find anything under 20 inches. We only had three under 20 inches all afternoon. I guess that's really not to bad a problem to have. No Comments
