Today was a very different type of trip. The conditions were ideal for lots of catching. We got a good early start but the fish would just not cooperate. At noon with just one more hour to go we had ZERO fish in the box. For the next hour it was FISHON!! We had a triple going at one point. For some reason they just turned on and at the end of the trip we had a three man limit of Hybrids in the box. Click "read more" to see the pic.

The first two hous this morning were spent chasing fish at a spot where we've been having very good success lately. The fish were there but would not take a Shad!! Very frustrating for the guide so we moved on and started looking at a couple of more spots. When we found them we didn't move around much. Another awesome day on Skiatook. I had three clients on board today and by 9:45 this morning we were within two fish of our limit. The bite slowed down a bit and we went to look for bigger fish. We hit a few more spots with a fish here and there but not what we were looking for. We continued to catch and release until we were nearly done and I started to clean fish but it was game on again. We ended the day with three gallons of fillets a three person limit of Hybrids and several releases. It...

It was tough on Sooner Saturday morning. The fish had moved and I had a tough time finding them. I had a family on board who wanted some fish for a fish fry and all we could put in the boat was two fish. One nice Hybrid and a really nice Striper. Click "read more" to see the pics.

Another good day at Skiatook. It was a totally different weather pattern and bite from yesterday. We had to hunt around a bit to find them this morning but when we did find fish they were willing. At our second stop we had two fish on before we could get the third bait in the water. Water temps were around 63 and the fish are getting more active every day.
